Dondo-yaki

the new year's mood
is also over today -
dondo-yaki*

- shougatsu mo kyou de oshimai dondo-yaki
正月も今日でおしまいどんど焼き

* "Dondo-yaki" is a kind of bonfire festival that is held throughout Japan from the night of 14th to the morning of 15th January every year. In this festival, people burn the new year's decorations (such as pine branches, bamboos, and straw festoons) and pray for their happiness of the year.
