* A Japanese word "Juuni-hitoe" means a layered kimono worn by a court lady in the Heian period. In Japan, we generally describe the flowers of Ajuga as "Juuni-hitoe". For more information about "Juuni-hitoe" as kimono, see also Wikipedia.
